Leo is a multi-genre writer and filmmaker who imagines expansive worlds for disabled, trans and queer characters. They have an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin where they also taught. Their films have screened at SXSW, Locarno Film Festival, Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, and PBS online, among others. Their fiction appears in Terrazzo Magazine. Leo was selected for the Berlinale Talent Campus, the Austin Film Society Artist Intensive, and as a writer-in-residence at Monson Arts.
